Situated in the middle of the vast Indian Ocean, shining under the tropical sun are the emerald islands of the Maldives- the place where the next phase of my never ending journey of art begins.
I turn my eyes in any direction and see the gleaming sun, the immense deep blue sea & the white sands interspersed with the majestic coconut trees. This whole new experience has led to a new perspective for my next project.
As I'm living on a small mass of land surrounded by the the huge sea, my base colour is now definitely blue. I will predominantly be using bright virgin colours with the purpose of portraying the tranquility, freshness & purity of nature. I will also be experimenting with new textures.
I hope I succeed in fulfilling my goal of putting on canvas my new experiences and feelings with the sea.
